WSH Management is actively seeking an Office Assistant to join the team in Santa Clarita, CA.
Reports to: Assistant Manager
Hours/Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Work environment: Onsite / In-office

About the role:
The Office Assistant is responsible for assisting the Property Staff with inter-office operations within the apartment community or development for owners or property management firm by performing the following duties personally.
What you’ll do:
- Receive all telephone calls and in-person visits. Listen to resident requests, concerns and comments.
- Greet prospects and qualify by covering all criteria (ask questions; utilize completed guest cards, etc.).
- Demonstrate community and apartment/model and apply product knowledge to client’s needs by
- communicating the features and benefits; close the sale. (as needed)
- Orient new residents to community.
- Represent the company in a professional manner at all the times.
- Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze information.
- Assist in lease transactions by typing leases, gathering applicant’s history and credit approvals. (as needed)
- Assist with maintaining compliance with all applicable Affordable Housing programs.
- Provide general clerical assistance to community office
- Enforce policies of the community.
- Assist in scheduling monthly events, activities and entertainment.
Our ideal candidate:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
- A minimum of one year of experience in a customer service-related industry and/or one year of apartment leasing experience or a combination of accounting skills/education with customer service experience is preferred.
- Must possess strong attention to detail and sales ability.
