SalaryThe Hayes Approach has partnered with World Witness, a faith-based missions agency of the ARP Church, to find a highly organized, clerical professional with keen attention to detail and who enjoys working in a faith-based, nonprofit environment.
Position Summary
Major areas of responsibility include maintaining, monitoring, and updating donor records, and providing additional clerical support to the development department for a faith-based organization.
Position Responsibilities and Duties
- maintain donor records
- correspond with donors verbally and in writing regarding their donations
- assist with the managing of donor-driven child sponsorship programs provide clerical support for special projects, events and meetings
Full-time (40 hours per week), competitive salary depending on experience, with benefits (health insurance: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, dependent life insurance, long term disability, and accidental death and dismemberment insurance).
Experience, Education and Skills
- High School diploma or equivalent required, some college is a plus
- 2+ years’ experience working in an office environment
- Experience working with a faith-based/non-profit type business is strongly preferred
- Excel/Word skills are required
- Strong organizational and technical skills
Ability to make timely decisions and operate effectively under pressure - Accuracy and keen attention to detail
- Good organization, time management and prioritization
- Able to multitask and work under deadlines
- Self-starter and takes initiative
- Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers and donors
- Experience working with data entry and computer applications
