Office Assistant

Our team is growing! Central Texas Septic & Aerobics is now hiring an experienced Office Assistant for a part-time position of 30 hours per week. If you're a reliable, and detail-oriented professional with a positive attitude, Central Texas Septic & Aerobics is an excellent company for you. We are a small family owned, high-volume, full-service septic company. Our line of work consists of septic installation, routine maintenance, and repairs for both residential and commercial customers across the state.

Responsibilities

• Answering phones and directing calls, if needed
• Assist both new and existing clients with enrollment and renewal of maintenance agreements.
• Process payments for contract enrollments, renewals, repairs and pumping
• Preparing contract renewal, past due letters, and mailings
• Organize and maintain electronic files and databases in a professional and confidential manner.
• Enter daily maintenance septic inspections.
• Manage permits and installation schedules.
• Manage communication including emails and phone calls.
• Occasional errand running

Qualifications

• Reliability is a must.
• 2 years of Office Assistant, clerical or data entry experience
• Customer service, customer engagement, or customer acquisition experience very helpful
• Ability to learn and obtain new skills quickly and efficiently
• Ability to use time effectively and meet daily deadlines by understanding, organizing, and strategizing tasks
• Ability to problem solve and critical thinking skills
• Proficient computer skills Microsoft Suite a must
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of attention to detail
• Proficient data entry experience
• Working knowledge of general office equipment
• Comfortable with routinely shifting demands
• Working days are Monday - Friday
• Spanish speaking/bilingual would be a helpful addition, but not required
• Associates degree, preferred, but not required
