Office Assistant

MJ Tank Lines, a family-owned bulk petroleum transportation company located in Southern California, is seeking a high energy Billing Clerk to join our growing team!

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Post bills and payables.
• Tackle various accounting tasks, from payables to fuel tax calculations.
• Incoming calls and emails.
• Maintain accurate records and files for easy retrieval.
• Enter and update data in various systems.
• Compile and summarize information for reports.
• File and organize documents both electronically and in hard copy.
• Assist with special projects or assignments as assigned by management.
• Run company errands as needed.

Software Proficiency:

• QuickBooks experience preferred, not required.
• MS Office (specifically Excel)
• Adobe Acrobat

Work Location: ONSITE inVentura, CA (potential for hybrid/remote)

Schedule: To be determined by candidate availability and business need. Flexibility possible.

Education: High school diploma

Hours: 20 hours per week

Salary: up to$30 hourly rate. (Based on candidate experience)
