Unifour Fire & Safety, a Southeastern leader in full-service fire protection inspections and repair, is seeking an experienced Office Administrator at our Charleston, SC location. Hours for this job are Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm. We are looking for an experienced Office Admin to help with the organization and running of the daily administrative operations of the Backflow division. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working professional able to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. This person will be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results.
Responsibilities
- Scheduling a large amount of jobs daily after confirming with Customer
- Answering & Assisting Residential Customer Phone Calls
- Using our software to pull the upcoming jobs for inspections.
- Assist in taking emergency service backflow calls.
- Send complete reports to the City water municipality for record.
- Update customers when needed.
- Being organized and able to handle large call volume.
- Know the geography of the low country area.
- Maintain emails with customers in a timely manner.
- Being able to work on a fast-paced scale.
Skills
- Proven experience as an office assistant, or in another relevant administrative role
- Strong attention to detail and keep accurate notes
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Experience with Quickbooks not required, but a plus
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of office equipment
- High School Diploma or equilivent
- Must pass drug screen & background check
