Job description

Titan Security, of the fastest-growing privately-held security services providers in the state of South Carolina, is currently looking to fill a dual-role as a Security Field Officer - HR Administrator who will assist with working assigned posts part-time and support the Human Resources department and Titan’s business objectives in sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and placing security professionals to work at client sites throughout the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area. 

 


 

Responsibilities include performing all HR Administrator duties for Titan Security Group to facilitate an employee-oriented, diverse, high performance culture, including but not limited to:

  • Perform direct recruiting and sourcing activities for open positions in the Myrtle Beach, South Carolina area.
  • Develop potential recruiting sources by preparing research strategies; identifying and qualifying sources, including search engines involving Boolean searches, chat rooms, message boards, organization lists, publications, home pages, colleges and institutes, and job fairs; building personal networks.

  • Move candidates through the applicant flow of the applicant tracking system.
  • Assess candidates for all levels of hire, from resume review to phone screens and skill assessments.
  • Coordinate drug test, MVR/DMV reports, criminal background checks and references

  • Coordinate hiring and on-boarding.

  • Explain company personnel policies, benefits, and procedures to job applicants.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Responsibilities include performing Security Officer duties including but not limited to:

  • Train and qualify to work assigned post. Understands the specific and general post instructions for that assigned post. Maintain practical knowledge of all additional and emergency post instructions that are called for by the client.
  • Maintain access control procedures set by building management.
  • Effectively utilize access control systems, visitor management systems and CCTV systems as needed.
  • Identify all tenants and/or visitors upon arrival.
  • Ensure visitors and vendors are properly signed in prior to accessing the building.
  • Observe departing personnel to guard against theft of tenant or building property.
  • Monitor security cameras that are within the facility.
  • Respond to incidents including property emergencies.
  • Conduct general patrols of the entire property during various hours, if required, including numerous flights of stairs and frequent patrols of the exterior in any weather conditions. 
  • Ability to stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or general education degree (GED) and at least 1 year prior satisfactory employment as an Security Officer or directly related experience. Previous experience in recruiting is preferred.

 

 

Computer Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint), google software, and HR Systems.

Training will be provided

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Ability to acquire and maintain a valid guard card, including state accredited training requirements. Although a valid SC driver’s license is not required for this position, having/maintaining a valid SC driver’s license along with a satisfactory DMV history does increase your targeted assignment area within  selected business portfolio, in addition to allowing for your assignment at a facility for which a vehicular mobile patrol is required.

 

Language Skills: Must have the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Bi-lingual considered a plus.

 

Other Qualifications: Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check. You will be obligated to maintain a working telephone number and accurate residential information throughout your employment, so we may be able to contact you as needed.

 

Physical Demands: The physical demands are based on the contract and must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. A list of these job duties is inclusive of, but not limited to: candidates must be able to stand for extended periods of time; be able to lift, push, and/or pull at least 50lbs.; be able to accommodate foot patrols on the interior & exterior of the assigned facilities; be able to perform assigned duties regardless of inclement weather.

 

Salary & Benefits: Compensation range is starting at $18.00 per hour based on site assignment & experience, plus paid time off, medical insurance, dental insurance, paid holidays, andpension/retirement benefits. Skills-enhancing training and opportunities for career growth and promotion.
