Part or Full Time Bilingual Office Manager in Psychology Practice
At Kimel Psychological Services (KPS) you’ll leverage your interpersonal skills, your compassion, your strong technical skills, and your Spanish bilingual abilities, as an office manager for a growing Group Psychology Practice and developmental disabilities clinic. You’ll work up to 40-hours a week, depending on whether you prefer to be a 1099 or W2 employee. You’ll work in a clinic environment that is supportive, collaborative, fun, intellectually stimulating, and engaging. You’ll enjoy monthly staff engagement events.
You’re a great fit for the Office Manager role if you have:
- Excellent executive functioning skills, including flexible thinking, shifting between doing different tasks, and multitasking.
- A high standard of professionalism.
- Comfort working with culturally, linguistically, ethnic, and economically diverse families.
- Speak and write Spanish and English fluently (we are a bilingual practice).
- At least 2 years as an office manager or administrative assistant in a related field.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher.
In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to help grow the practice while keeping the integrity and quality of the work.
KPS is a minority- and woman-owned mental health practice focused on patient-centered care. Our expertise is in developmental disabilities and learning disorders. We provide empirically supported and culturally sensitive psychotherapy and evaluation services. We serve families ages one through adulthood. We offer a range of diagnostic evaluation services, including cognitive/intellectual abilities, academic achievement, attention disorders, emotional functioning, fetal substance exposure, head injury, and a range of developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorder (ASD). KPS serves people in the greater Denver Metro area. We help families, schools, and community settings understand a child’s areas of strength and areas for growth so that everyone works from a place of understanding. We’re looking for someone who is passionate about working in the mental health field and learning the ins and outs of running a growing private practice. Your work schedule is Monday through Friday, with flexibility. We have an ongoing commitment to cultural competency and dedication to meeting the treatment and assessment needs of patients from any background.
What You’ll Do and How You’ll Make an Impact:
• Commit to working as part of our practice for a minimum of one year.
• Leverage your strong communication skills in responding to phone calls, emails, and faxes in a timely manner.
• Manage office scheduling for 5 or 6 licensed psychologists and 10 graduate student, Master’s level psychologists.
• Describe our clinic’s assessment and treatment processes to families.
• Manage our clinic’s calendars and room use, patient intake calls, scheduling, verify insurance coverage, bill privately and insurances, assist with bookkeeping, and initiate reminder calls/emails.
• Navigate our electronic medical record system and billing system (Therapy Appointment), other billing software (Office Ally or Medicaid), and be able to work within Google Workspace or Office 365.
• Greet families at the front desk with a positive, friendly, and compassionate attitude.
• Compose client folders and scan relevant documents into our EMR system.
• Stock and order testing supplies and monitor the supply.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the practice.
• Assist in coordinating for staff meetings and staff engagement events.
• Monitor clinicians in the practice for timeliness.
• Help with onboarding of new clinicians and trainees.
• Assist with advertising for group therapy and for community events.
Compensation: Competitive and aggressive pay depending on level of experience (this job can be for a 30 or 40-hour a week position).
• For a full time position you’ll receive W-2 Employment Status with benefits, including:
- Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance Benefits with company paying for portion of monthly premium.
- 401k with up to 3% company match.
- Sick and PTO days.
- For a part-time position you’ll have 1099 Employment Status- with a flexible schedule for 25-30 hours a week.

We are looking to expand into a group practice and are uniquely one of the few practices in town that serve Medicaid, Kaiser, and private pay families. There are opportunities to supervise graduate students from the University of Denver's graduate programs in psychology. We are a collaborative team of professionals and currently have only two of us that are licensed. We hope to add more to our aggressively growing small business.
