12-month position, year-long assignments will include student/faculty/staff access card administration, student Medical Records and Immunization requirements administration and collection, summer camp/conference & student housing support, student Safety Background Checks administration, support for housing administration and occupancy management, and related Student Life summer programs.
The Office Administrator position is a 12-month, full-time, exempt position. Experience in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Publisher, and Access is required. The Office Administrator is responsible for working with people at point of service, has a friendly personality, is able to maintain strict confidentiality, has the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, and has excellent organizational skills. The College offers on a volunteer basis, a variety of health & wellness benefits. Some benefit selections are offered on a pre- tax basis. The Office Administrator uses multiple software for services related to Student Life including CAMS, Blackboard Transact (Card Access), Guardian (conduct management), Blackboard Connect (LC Alerts), Omni Update, Castle Branch/Safe College educational training software, and other related software.PRINCIPLE FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain various information databases.
Maintain student ID and residence hall systems.
Set up, administer, and support housing access card and campus wide events through the Blackboard Transact.
Maintain campus portal information through HTML format.
Maintain various on-line calendars.
Maintain budget records and documents for all areas of Student Life.
Maintain inventory of office supplies.
Enter parking ticket violations through CAMS software.
Maintain student medical records through CAMS software.
Perform student criminal background checks.
Maintain Calendar schedules for Dean of Students and various Student Life staff.
Maintain/update student files as necessary.
Respond to telephone inquiries and direct messages to the appropriate staff.
Serve as a receptionist for students and other guests as Student Life office.
Assist the appropriate Student Life staff with various tasks.
Supervise work-study students.
Perform general filing and clerical duties with the Student Life office.
Perform other duties as assigned by Dean of Students.
High School Diploma required
Previous administrative or office experience and customer service experience preferred
Demonstrated skills in the following areas: Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite
Knowledge of student development and leadership development theory desired
Ability to lift 25 pounds
Ability to climb multiple flights of stairs
