Verdant Landscaping Inc. – Los Angeles is seeking a professional Office Administrator to join our TEAM. This is the ideal position for a self-motived individual with administrative experience to grow with our TEAM. The model candidate will be bi-lingual (English and Spanish), and have HR & accounting experience, with the ability to self-manage in a fast-paced work environment. This position is full time (Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm with 1/2 hour for lunch preferred).
The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
- liaison between our Corporate TEAM and the Los Angeles operation TEAM
- administration oversight of the LA operation’s accounting, AR and PO processes
- LA operation HR administration, including new hire process oversight
- monthly reporting management
- month end close process oversight
- data entry and filing
- purchasing duties
- fleet (trucks and trailers) licensing management
- new vendor set-up and management
- daily interaction with employees
- translation as needed
- local payroll administration
- open to duty expansion as role matures
- Aspire Software background would be a big benefit, but not a must have
Applicant must have the following qualifications:
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced capabilities in Outlook and Excel
- High attention to detail and ability to efficiently multi-task in order to meet deadlines
- Comfortable speaking to clients, vendors and employees directly as necessary
