Summary/ Objective:
Performs and directs a variety of tasks in support of warehousing functions which include but are not limited to shipping, receiving, and wire cutting. These activities promote the timely movement of materials and the effective functioning of the warehouse.
Essential Functions:
- Ensure the proper staffing of your area of responsibility.
- Answer communication regarding your area within 24 hours
- Verify the work done in your area of responsibility is performed correctly per existing work instructions.
- Review the work instructions under your responsibility yearly.
- Assist in the work performed in your area.
- Assist the Assistant Warehouse Manager in reviews, hiring, and disciplinary action for employees in your area of responsibility.

Work Environment:
This job mostly operates within the warehouse setting. Varying temperatures and moving equipment are present in the warehouse. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.

Physical Demands:
- the ability to stand, walk for moderately long distances, stoop, kneel, crouch, and manipulate (lift, carry, push/pull) weight up to 50lbs unassisted

- The ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and various warehousing machinery/tools
- Ability to use a keyboard and type proficiently
- Specific vision abilities required by this job may include close vision, color vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
