2Nd Shift Warehouse Dock Coordinator

2nd Shift - Monday to Friday 3:00pm - 11:30pm

Summary/Objective

The warehouse Dock Coordinator is responsible for all administrative functions related to shipping and receiving in the realm of the dock.

Essential Functions

• Directly responsible to manager and direct others in preparing outgoing and receiving incoming shipments.
• Verifies and keeps accurate records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment:
  • Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records.
  • Responsible for making sure all paperwork is printed, organized and ready when our driver team arrives. This includes all invoices, bills of lading and any other records.
  • Runs reports to identify any temporary out of stocks or missed product that we received but have not picked or missed during picking process.
  • Manages backhaul returns and dock assignments
  • Communicates end of day reports to proper leadership teams
• Coordinates incoming shipments, and manages WMS reporting accuracy
• May operate tier-lift truck or use pallet jack to move, convey, or lift shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work area
• Responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of all dock administration

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the warehouse Dock Coordinator is frequently exposed to a refrigerated warehouse environment, which includes the operation of powered industrial equipment.

While performing the duties of this job, the warehouse receiver is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, lift, carry, push, pull, and operate equipment as needed.

Salary Based on Experience - Starting at $22.00
