Title: Microsoft Systems Engineer / Administrator – Remote role
Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Duration: 12 Months Contract
  Required Skills:
Microsoft Systems Engineer with focus on Microsoft Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive, as well as Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD technologies. Job level will be commensurate to the level of experience.
 Looking for a candidate with existing IT experience, demonstrated success in and passion of enterprise IT, with motivation to quickly grow their expertise. Experience with O365, Teams and Active Directory is desirable, but not required.
Bachelor’s Degree required. Prefer B.S. in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering or related field
  2+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably with Microsoft on-prem or cloud technologies
   Experience working with various desktop, mobile and server operating system platforms, including Windows and Linux
 Demonstrates knowledge of routing and switching, networking technologies, including TCP/IP and DNS
Experience with scripting or web/application development
  General understanding of communication technologies such as e-mail, mobility, networking, voice and video telephony
Working knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory
Demonstrates analytical thinking and good IT troubleshooting skills.
   Experience with IT end user support demonstrating excellence in approach with IT customer service.
  Strong interest in organizing and leading projects, including ability to prepare project plans to communicate and track execution.
 
 Preferred Skills:
 4+ years of experience in administering and securing one or several of Microsoft technologies: Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive for Business, Active Directory, Win DFS and Azure AD. 
 2+ years of experience in administering Active Directory Services, including Group Policy, DNS, Domain Controllers, Certificate Services, and Directory Integration infrastructure.
 Solid PowerShell scripting and troubleshooting skills
  Experienced in performing migration tasks between separate O365 or AD environments
  Microsoft or other certifications are a plus
 Experience developing and implementing cyber security standards and security posture improvements
   Demonstrated ability to lead technical projects, including identification of project scope, requirements, deliverables, and coordination of project design and implementation activities.
