T-Rex Solutions is seeking a qualified Network Operations Support Analyst to support the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Enterprise Cyber, Infrastructure and Operations Support Services (ECIOSS) program in Boyers, PA. This program's primary objective is to deliver high quality, reliable, and secure IT services that significantly enhance the ability for OPM to execute it mission. Operations support provides critical day-to-day operations and maintenance of services used by our customers routinely, from cloud Microsoft 365, to application support, to on-premises server maintenance.

Responsibilities:

Support the following mission activities:

  • Layer2/Layer3 Networking
    • Routing protocols (Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Open Shortest Path First, (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol ( EIGRP), Quality of Service, Network address translation, traffic management, Virtual Link Trunking (VLT), Virtual Port Channel (VPC), Spanning Tree
  • Cloud networking
    • Network Security groups, Application Security groups, Express route and Virtual WAN hub services
  • Software-defined Networking (SDN) Services
    • VMware NSX-T, NSX-V, Vmware Vrealize Network Insight, Windows Server Virtualization, Azure Virtualization
  • WAN Services
    • Circuits, Field Site Network, Private Line Services, Encryption, Express Route
  • VPN
    • Site to Site VPN, Remote Access VPN, Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network(DMVPN) Group Encrypted Transport Virtual Private Network (GETVPN), Remote Access VPN
  • Firewall Management
    • Micro-segmentation, Palo Alto operations and maintenance, Azure Firewall Premium operations and maintenance, Azure Network Security Groups (NSG) and Application Security Groups (ASG)

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of related professional experience
  • Experience configuring and supporting enterprise class network hardware in a highly redundant environment with a focus on ensuring uptime requirements are met, ability to independently respond to and correct errors and hardware exceptions on a wide variety of network hardware.
  • The ability to be on site in one of OPM's datacenter locations within 2 hours of an identified event
  • Experience working independently and with a team to provide network support to enterprise class hardware systems, experience working with various infrastructure tools for monitoring purposes, network-based configuration backups, incident reporting, ticket tracking, excellent written and verbal skills
  • Certifications: AZ-900: Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or related field

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $50,000 - $90,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
