Job Summary:
In collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics Chair (Physician-in-Chief of the Pediatrics Institute), the Vice President will be responsible for administrative oversight of the pediatric physician enterprise, including program development, and strategic execution. The VP assists leadership in aligning the pediatric institute with the strategic goals of the network through sound financial planning, market development, operational efficiency, and optimal resource allocation. The VP works closely with physician, nursing, and operations leaders of the Children’s Institute to develop care delivery models that improve health outcomes and attract and retain patients by providing an exceptional patient experience and superior access to care. Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders to promote services, improve transitions of care, and to identify better ways to meet the needs of the communities we serve. Works with the institute leadership team to carry out variance analysis and formulate action plans regarding performance in operations, workforce development, colleague engagement, team-based care, value, and growth, especially in ambulatory pediatric clinical areas. Ensures there is appropriate data collection and presentation to carry out analyses and drive stakeholder engagement.
Education - Required
Master's Degree in Health Services Administration, Business Administration, Public Administration (with Health Services emphasis), or related fields of study.
Experience - Required
10 years’ experience in a large medical practice group and/or integrated practice group within an integrated delivery system.
