DESCRIPTION
Information Network Associates, Inc. (INA) is currently seeking an experienced security professional to serve as a full time Security Operations Specialist. At INA, we are passionate about protecting people, property, and data and our Security Services division provides these protections with the utmost care, respect, and customer service.
Position is for an off-hours SOS. Primary hours will be 2nd shift & 3rd shift. This position will require the candidate to work on weekends. Pay Rate: $21.00
REQUIREMENTS
Current ACT 235 Certification. Possess a PA concealed carry permit. Must have a valid PA Driver's License.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Administration
- Ensure special events and details are staffed, per contractual requirements, with properly certified and trained officers; review schedule to confirm it has been completed per INA policy and is in compliance with Federal and State laws.
- Under the direction of the Director, Security Services, ensure scheduling of special events and details is complete and shifts are filled; escalate any issues/concerns.
- Serve as primary point of contact for all PFO staff as it relates to assignments, scheduling, etc. for special events and details.
- Based on contractual requirements and per the direction of the Director, Security Services, develop and disseminate post orders for special events and details; clearly communicate post orders to applicable staff.
- Be on site for the start-up of special projects or new accounts.
- Have working knowledge of post orders for all INA sites.
- Respond to officer and client needs.
- Conduct off-hour site inspections.
- Will be an on-call supervisor.
Officer Mentoring
- With approval of the Director, Security Services, provide day to day oversight and guidance to staff whose skills range from entry level to experienced including:
- Assignment of work schedules, locations, functions, and duties as it relates to special events and details.
- When requested, recommend appropriate disciplinary action.
- Support and motivate staff by providing ongoing guidance, mentoring, and feedback, especially as it relates to scheduling and site post orders, to ensure competent performance while adhering to company policy and procedure.
- Ensure all staff possesses applicable training, including, but not limited to firearms qualification, MOAB, Use of Force, etc.; when discrepancy is noted, escalate to division leadership.
