The Talent Mine is recruiting for a rising star CISCO Network Engineer for one of the largest green manufacturers in North America. We are looking for the kind of person that likes to get their hands dirty, built and support networks in a manufacturing setting, who likes to be creative and learn from an established team. A day in the life will include:
- Coordinating with local and enterprise stakeholders on network design architectures
- Leading local infrastructure equipment installation and configuration and maintenance
- Driving consistency with current and upcoming networking standards across the enterprise
- Providing technical customer service support to local teammate requests and projects
- Improving department standards, policies, and procedures when the opportunity arises

COMPENSATION NOTES:
TOTAL COMP for this position is $100,000- $130,000broken down as follows:
- Base salary of $75-90k (Based on experience)
- The average annual bonus has been 33.6% over the past 5+ years + added 401K match
- You also receive a $4,000 educational credit for yourself
- You also receive additional $2,000 educational credits for your spouse and EACH child!
- RELOCATION STIPEND: We offer a VERY GENEROUS Relocation Stipend for those moving to the area.
The ideal candidates will have most of the following traits:
- Must be happy to work in person 4-5 days/week in Charleston, SC - or one of our other locations: Ghent, KY, Apple Grove, WV, or Decatur, AL).
- Must be a US Citizen or Green Card Holder
- 3+ years of related experience configuring and managing network infrastructure equipment, specifically in a CISCO environment
- Strong network switching expertise, ideally in a manufacturing / industrial setting
- Cisco Catalyst 9k switching/wireless
- Professional expertise with troubleshooting via TCP/IP protocols, VLANs, DHCP/DNS protocols
- Hands on experience with LAN design, cabling, installation, configuration, and management
- Ability to travel and work on call rotation as needed (occasional)
Bonus traits:
- Net+, CCNA, CCNP, or other industry accepted Network certification
- Single mode/multimode fiber installation
- Spanning Tree configuration/administration
- IP Routing including various routing protocols
- Network monitoring and configuration backups
