Network / Systems Engineer

eGroup | Enabling Technologies is looking for a Network / Systems Engineer to join our team and help eGroup | Enabling Technologies extend our delivery of solutions throughout the nation.

Do you have a passion for next-gen, on-premise Data Center solutions as well as Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Services? We are looking for an experienced technologist to join our team to help deliver speed and certainty to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have broad technical “hands-on” experience with on-premises Data Center solutions as well as familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud solutions.

Job Summary:

As a Network / Systems Engineer, you will perform detailed designs, project oversight and implementation of network-based solutions we provide to our clients. The Network Engineer will be expected to work directly with customers in all aspects of project deployment from design through testing, deployment and final deliverables. Candidates must be well versed in deploying and troubleshooting multi-protocol routing, WAN and Data Center environments. Candidates must possess strong communications skills and be able to work individually as well as in a team environment.

Travel Requirements:

This position requires some on-site work. Travel expectation are in the 10 - 25% range.

Job Responsibilities:

• Leading complex, large scale network implementation projects including LAN, WAN and Data Center architectures
• Implementation, Planning and Design for migrations and implementations
  
• Planning upgrades and migrations
• Technical troubleshooting and issue resolution
  
• Producing Project Documentation for:
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Working closely with project management to ensure engagements finish on time and within scope
• Implementing Nutanix Hyperconverged Solutions
• Microsoft Azure IaaS Solutions

Required Skills:

• Hands-on experience in Cisco networking technologies including standard Cisco Routers and Switches (Catalyst and Nexus).

    • Datacenter Switching/Routing
    • Azure Cloud connectivity and Networking
    • Internet and DMZ design
    • Private WAN
  • Working knowledge of Security products operation and configuration including.
