Summary
The Network Administrator is responsible for all aspects of Ursuline College network systems and mobile connectivity. This is a full-time 12 month position reporting to the Director of Information Technology.
Responsibilities
Network design, capacity planning, security standards, disaster planning and testing; Operate and maintain campus-wide data network, track significant problems, monitor performance, and perform upgrades; Develop and maintain documentation library of standards. Configure and deploy networking equipment including network servers, switches, wireless access points, and firewalls. Manage multiple projects in a team environment and prioritize workload to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Qualifications
Required Skills: A two (2) year degree or its equivalent in computer or information science and a minimum of two (2) years experience in network administration in a multi-vendor operating environment. Expert level knowledge in endpoint computing and system integration. Multi-vendor layer-three Ethernet local area network. Design, operate and document campus-wide controller-based wireless access points. Network integration with mobile devices. The ability to work in an inclusive community.
Preferred Skills: Microsoft Azure administration particularly rated to SSO configuration and troubleshooting. Powershell scripting within Azure/on-premise active directory. Experience managing HP/Aruba switches and Fortigate firewalls. VMware administration. Microsoft SCCM Administration. Experience with Ubiquiti Unifi wireless access points and controllers. Network security experience. VEEAM Backup Administration.
Desired Certifications: CCNA/CCNP; Microsoft Professional Certification; HP/ARUBA, Fortigate Professional Certification.
