Join our growing team! J&O Plastics is seeking a Network and Systems Administrator who will report to the Director of Information Technology. This position will be responsible for managing the technology platforms, services, security, infrastructure, hardware, and software in a progressive and fast-growing plastics manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have both a deep and experienced background in information technology as well as demonstrated experience with hands on skills.
This position is a hands-on position working with the business management to solve problems, bring value-added solutions, and providing technical services support. The Network and Systems Administrator will assist the director of information technology in meeting initiatives, working on projects, and building continued improvements with innovative technical solutions. A key skill for this position will be the ability to work with people and be a valuable resource within the enterprise.

Duties/Responsibilities:- Maintains department business continuity documentation.
- Manages enterprise security that includes the managing of Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Firewalls, Security Appliances, and all other endpoints.
- Oversees the enterprise hardware and device management, policies, and procedures working with the Director of IT on planning and executing a managed infrastructure and IT inventory system.
- Manages servers, IT hardware and software, updates and upgrades, networking, and puts best practice and continual improvement efforts forward into results.
- Manages assigned IT projects to ensure adherence to budget, schedule, and scope of project.
- Develops, maintains, and revises proposals for assigned projects including project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, timelines, funding, and staffing.
- Sets and tracks project milestones; manages and accounts for unforeseen delays, then realigns schedules and expectations as needed.
- Establishes and implements project communication plans, providing status updates to affected staff and stakeholders.
- Collects, analyzes, and summarizes information and trends as needed to prepare project status reports.
Must have skills include network administration (WAN and LAN), systems and data security management, Active Directory (Hybrid), virtual servers (VM Ware/Hyper V), hyperconverged infrastructure environments, servers, desktop systems and device management. Experience working in an application and data rich manufacturing environment (ERP) is essential.
