Network Administrator

Erdman Anthony is a multidisciplinary firm specializing in infrastructure engineering, providing cost-effective solutions for government and private-sector clients such as: Geospatial Services, Civil Engineering, Facilities Engineering and Design Services, Transportation Engineering, and Construction Services.

The Network Administrator is responsible for the administration, security, support, and maintenance of the Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft (Physical, Virtual, and Cloud) network environments, SDWAN, and VOIP systems. Services computer systems and networking operations related to supporting a multi-office engineering firm’s objective as well as support for client computer systems and help desk system.

Responsibilities:

• Perform complex Citrix infrastructure design, engineering, planning, and implementation activities
• Responsible to maintain, support, and administer the Citrix environment having components like XenApp, XenDesktop, Storefront, and NetScaler
• Responsible to maintain, support, and administer Citrix virtual desktops and apps, desktop delivery controllers (DDC's), VMWARE, ESXi, Windows operating systems.
• Installs, maintains, and supports all networking hardware, operating systems, computer systems, and network infrastructure including Citrix and Azure Cloud environments
• Recommend architectural and operational recommendations for applying updates to the Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft network environments.
• Daily maintenance and troubleshooting for Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft systems and network infrastructure
• Work with computer technicians and clients
• Ensure management techniques are in place, documented and communicated.
• Respond, support, and document Help Desk calls.
• Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Comply with Erdman Anthony’s Quality Control Policy and Security Control Policies

Qualifications:

• Citrix Certified Professional – Virtualization (CCP-V) required
• Citrix Certified Integration Architect (CCIA) for Virtualization preferred or five years managing, supporting, and playing a major role in the successful implementation of a Citrix Hosted Virtual Apps & Desktop platform
• Five 5+ years’ experience with support and management of VMware vSphere Virtual Server and Microsoft server environment
• Experience working in Microsoft Azure and Citrix Cloud networking environment.
• Knowledge of Cyber Security, Aruba Network Switches, and Routers, Firewalls such as Barracuda
• Team Leader IT projects.
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrates high responsiveness.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks to meet deadlines.
• Self-starter, dependable, organize with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Occasional travel to regional offices, may require overnight or weekends
• In office work required with remote flexibility
