Network Administrator

Lebanon Valley College department of Information Technology seeks a full-time Network Administrator. Reporting to the CIO, the Network Administrator is responsible for the management and protection of the campus network, wiring and communication systems. In addition, the Network Administrator oversees the administration of the campus cable plant and campus network including maintenance, wiring, network security, documentation, and reporting. The Network Administrator is as a subject matter expert for wireless, firewall, switches, routers, network access control, and other network services as well as a co-administrator for the network servers (e.g., DHCP, DNS, AD, VPN, L2TP VPN, etc.) and provides support to users of the campus network and internet. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years’ experience working in the field of technology, excellent oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, the ability to multitask with success and meet deadlines, and the capacity to work effectively and independently in a team environment.
