AAC is seeking a Network Administrator to join their client located downtown Columbia. This position will support a large federal contract, and it will require the individual to either already posses a Secret/Top-Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.

This position will require the ability to work 10-hour shifts, 4 days a week onsite. You will be supporting a 24/7 NOC environment, and the right candidate should be willing to work 1st (7 AM – 5 PM), 2nd (1 PM – 11 PM), or 3rd (11 PM – 8 AM) shifts. Required Education, Experience, & Skills

At a minimum, the qualified candidates must possess:

· Associate degree in computer science or related IT field (OR)

· Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA) IT Infrastructure certification; (OR)

· 4 years of experience in Computer, Windows Active Directory, network, and IT hardware support in an enterprise or multi-site IT environment.

· Solid working knowledge of SolarWinds application (preferred) or other enterprise management tools (SCOM, Cisco PRIME, LogicMonitor, etc.)

· Solid working knowledge of network routing and switching (Cisco preferred)

· Solid working knowledge of server management (Windows, VMware preferred)

· Ability and knowledge to perform primary steady-state administration, monitoring of enterprise management systems, maintaining systems, troubleshooting issues, correcting problems, installing system security patches, patch management, hardware and software upgrades, data storage, data retrieval, backup job creation, backup job modification, backup job verification, data replication, system optimizations, updating documentation, and providing research assistance for problem resolution involving configuration issues or other conflicts.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $58,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
