About Our Agency
The South Carolina Department of Disabilities and Special Needs (DDSN) is the state agency that plans, develops, coordinates, and funds services for South Carolinians with the severe, lifelong disabilities of:
Works with external vendors to facilitate network projects and solutions. Stays up-to-date in latest technology standards and recommends solutions to IT management.
Works with end-user support team in resolving moderate to complex network issues in accordance to DDSN service-level agreements as well as ensuring new endpoints are properly configured. Conducts training to end user support and infrastructure teams as needed. Creates and maintains documentation including network diagrams and knowledge-based articles.
Serves as liaison between business units, vendors information security, and end-users in ongoing projects and network support operations.
Other duties as assigned. Position may require after-hours and weekend work as needed.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
A Bachelor's degree in information technology systems, computer science, or a related field and experience in information technology systems or a related area.
Driver's License required.
