As a Sr National Account Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy and execution for assigned National Accounts across the US. This position will provide direction and leadership through driving distribution and high ROI promotional plans that align with overall sales strategy. This includes development of forecast, bottom-up planning and crafting bi- annual objectives.
The candidate should have consumer products sales experience in a consumer products with a background in the beverage space.

Travel: This role will be in market 60% of the time.
As the Sr. National Account Manager you will report to the VP of National Accounts and responsible for:
- National Sales Strategy: Develop, implement, and lead a comprehensive national sales strategy, with a focus on achieving sales targets and market share growth.
- Key Account Management: Cultivate and maintain relationships with key National Accounts, ensuring that our products are available, properly priced, and prominently displayed.
- New Business Development: Identify and secure new business opportunities, including national retail chains, grocery stores, and convenience stores, to expand our market presence.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and consumer behavior studies to stay informed about market trends and pricing strategies.
- Brand Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute promotional campaigns, events, and merchandising initiatives to enhance brand visibility and consumer demand.
- Sales Forecasting: Create accurate sales forecasts and demand planning in collaboration with the supply chain team to ensure product availability.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate regular sales reports and analyze key performance indicators to inform management decisions and strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to the sale and distribution of alcoholic beverages.
Skill Set to Excel in Role
- Commercial experience, preferably in beverage alcohol / consumer product goods
- Knowledge of distributor management / broker management and operations
- Experience with key regional / national customer management
- Strong knowledge of insights, analytics, category management, financial metrics

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree is required, MBA a plus
- 5+ years of National or Key Account experience sales
- Have established business connections and relationships within the Grocery, C-Store, Drug, Mass and/or Club channels
- Work cross-functionally to generate better business strategies that support sales objectives.
- Communicate for execution, follow-up and closure of projects and promotional campaigns on our products, as well as of the competition, to align what happens at the point of sale with the internal strategies of the company and take actions.
- Monitor performance, detection of opportunities and risks at the customer-product level to coordinate and execute action plans focused on optimizing performance.
- Ability to write compelling selling presentations providing retailer benefits
