National Account Manager Interiors – Lowes*
The National Account Manager (NAM) will be responsible for achieving assigned sales targets and penetration of company products within specifically assigned departments with Lowes. This role requires a wide range of skills including presentation of our expansive product assortments, building long-term, effective business relationships, execution of strategic planning, and managing cross-functional responsibilities.
What You’ll Do:

Position Responsibilities*
- Maintain and build trusted partnerships with key strategic accounts (Lowes) to retain and grow sales volume and category share. Lead point of contact for the category and department-level merchants at Lowes.
- Drive innovation, new product launches, and brand marketing initiatives
- Optimize national and regional pricing strategies and rebate programs.
- Maximize the effectiveness of Lowes shopper marketing activations.
- Utilize POS data, consumer/shopper insights, and other available data points to identify opportunities and develop fact-based selling stories.
- Optimize distribution center, store level, and online assortment strategies to drive sales on existing and new items
- Develop and execute best-in-class shelving strategies
- Partner with third-party distributors to fulfill product
- Lead annual Supplier Partnership Meetings
- Effectively partner with JHBP Supply Chain team to maximize on-shelf availability
- Contribute to monthly and annual business forecasting as well as longer-range planning for the Lowes business.
- Manage new item set-up, price changes, and general retail administration.

The incumbent in this role must quickly develop a broad base of key industry contacts, and develop an excellent understanding of JHBP segment strategies, products, goals, and strategic objectives. Additionally, this role requires high emotional intelligence coupled with a strong abstract reasoning ability in order to effectively manage partnerships for the mutual benefit of the customer and the company to ensure internal strategic objectives are met and exceeded.

Required:
- Larger Retailer/National HQ account management experience (Preferably Lowes)
- Strong consultative/solution selling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong and influential customer partnerships
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Strong negotiation skills with a bias for problem-solving
- Ability to navigate and influence multiple levels within our customers’ organizations
- Holds oneself with a high level of integrity and nurtures trust from others
- Ability to deliver strategic thinking and lead the market implementation of revised strategies
- Strong business acumen, with a particular focus on marketing / promotional programs and financial impacts of sales programs with both JHBP and the customer.

- Strong project management skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint Skills
- Travel 25%-50% (overnight and in market travel)

Education/Experience:*
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience
- Minimum of 3 years of sales/business development experience with large retail accounts
- Previous experience in people and strategic account management at a national level is preferred
