Primary Responsibilities:
- Load and unload all equipment.
- Inspect all equipment received in and shipped out.
- Record model and serial numbers of trucks, batteries, chargers, etc. needed on bill of lading.
- Fill out equipment condition checklist.
- Record incoming equipment on receiving sheet.
- Tag equipment for inventory control.
- Arrange cranes for loading and unloading purposes.
- Work with freight companies to establish pick-up/delivery date/time.
- Skidding and special handling of units on inbound and outbound freight.
- Move rental and used equipment to proper location in warehouse.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Must be able to safely operate lift trucks.
- Ability to read and complete bill of ladings.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
