We are looking for an individual experienced with previous supervisory roles. We must be able to lead a team and build effective relationships.

2nd Shift 3:00pm to 11:00pm
Position Summary:
The Team Leader coordinates the daily activities of the area operating associates in a safe and cost-effective manner. This includes communicating standards and requirements for the team, ensuring workload balance within assigned area, effective communication within the team as well as with other teams, directing and supporting continuous improvement and training through their own personal leadership, and making decisions in assigned area of responsibility.
Essential Functions:
The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Lead safety discussions, audits, etc. All safety regulations that meet OSHA and MACtac safety guidelines. Incidental conduct and housekeeping standards are being maintained.
- Serve as a technical resource to help formulate, monitor, and enforce goals of the area. This includes providing performance feedback, SOP implementation, problem-solving and in ansuring atmosphere that foster continuous improvement in a team environment.
- Substitutes as needed for team members.
- Work assignments for the area. Trains people, shares knowledge and provides coordination through the qualification process.
- Maintains equipment, staffing and vacation schedules.
- With their other teams members in planning and performing/assisting in equipment maintenance and repair.
- Coaches through troubleshooting process to develop employees to be self-sufficient in troubleshooting and involved in the decision making processes.
- Daily on associate attendance and performance, daughter rate, processes, safety and facility issues and concerns.
- Monitors and analyzers are efficiencies such as products picked, packed, shipped, and meeting the ship date. Corrections in cooperation with and/or at the direction of the Department Manager and technical support personnel.
- Foster the team processes between the operating associates with regards to communications, organization, and meetings. This is accomplished through team involvement in all aspects of the operation. Decisions are made internally and externally.
- Planning for meeting customer expectations is being performed by the departmental associates. This includes planning for various shifts, on-time orders, custom orders, and meeting customer demands.
- The material handlers accurate data collection as required and provide visual feedback as to their progress. Handles and/or directs all required administrative duties for their shift.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
