FIRST SHIFT POSITION
Under the direct supervision of the Shipping Area Manager, is responsible for inventory accuracy by counting finished goods, work in process, raw materials, purchased parts, on a cycle schedule and verifies quantities to computer systems on hand.
Responsible for adjusting records on systems where needed predicated upon documented evidence.
Investigates all discrepancies for know and unknown reasons.
Coordinates the cycle counting of all production inventory on a regular basis,
Recommends adjustments to Bills of Materials as needed, unloads and moves purchased parts trucks, insures use of color coded FIFO system.
Serves as a back-up for daily production reporting entering function, additional duties as assigned.
High School Diploma and/ or a GED equivalent
Candidate needs good math skills, ability to drive forklift and computer skills.
Coordinates the cycle counting of all production inventory on a regular basis.
Must have good attendance and adhere to all safety guidelines.
Experience
Preferred- 1 - 2 years: Past experience in Shipping/Receiving loading/unloading docks.
