- Sets up household survey mechanisms; sends out confirmation letter and moving packet; sets up any required third party services.
- Provides information to customers and other employees regarding the status of moving orders.
- Handles ongoing services such as storage, unpacking services through final destination letter.
- Provide a variety of tasks as requested by Customer Care Representatives; operates a computer terminal to input and change data. Use the ACT software package.
- Acknowledges new orders in a timely manner.
- Responds to accounts with confirmation of availability within the 2-hour time frame, but no more than a day's time frame.
- Works through the steps of determining whether Beltmann Relocation Group can successfully accommodate new corporate moves by reviewing shipment particulars such as origin and destination locations, shipment estimated weight, date requests, and mileage.
- Responsible for receiving, accepting, and evenly distributing national account moves.
- Communicates directly with Beltmann corporate clients, Beltmann planners, Beltmann agents and North American Van Lines agents.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be proficient in the use of standard software packages, including Microsoft Suite.
