Job Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee operations at the Visalia transfer station
Ensure efficient and safe route management
Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with company policies
Conduct training sessions for new hires
Address any safety concerns and ensure adherence to safety protocols
Coordinate with upper management to optimize route efficiency
Qualifications
CDL (Commercial Class A Driver's License)
Industry experience in garbage or transportation preferred, but strong leadership skills are paramount.
Strong leadership with knowledge of HR processes, including interviewing, training, counseling, performance management, goal setting, and motivation. Candidates should have the ability to drive cultural change within the organization.

Paid Time Off (PTO): 2 weeks for years 1-4, 3 weeks thereafter
Hours:
Drivers typically run from 5 am to 3 pm.
Supervisors are expected to open three times a week and stay until all drivers are in each day.
Some Saturdays and evenings are required for events such as clean-up events and parades.
Supervisors can expect to work 50-55 hours per week, depending on operational needs.
