East Penn is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for our Motive Power/Industrial division
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Processing orders (via phone, FAX, e-mail).
Receiving P.O.’s.
Checking orders for accuracy (product type and pricing, etc.).
Investigating discrepancies with the order, involves interaction with customer.
Making necessary changes to orders.
Enter orders into a spreadsheet.
Monitoring orders to insure batteries are shipped on time and making necessary adjustments.
Troubleshooting concerns that sales representatives/customers may encounter (orders and shipments, etc.).
Interacting with outside customers, shipping, scheduling, production, etc.
Generating reports.
*Maintains regular attendance.
*Ability to work mandatory overtime.
Performs other duties as requested.
Responsible for producing a high quality product.
Responsible for proper hygiene, housekeeping, and safety practices.
*These tasks are considered essential elements of the job.
Literate (able to read and understand various specifications), math skills (statistics, adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing, and measurements), good writing skills, computer literacy (WORD, EXCEL etc.), strong communication skills, well organized, Industrial battery knowledge is a plus.
