Position: Customer Service Representative - Service Parts

We are looking for a Service Parts Specialist to join our Customer Care Team in Pittsburgh, PA. The ideal candidate will have excellent computer skills, good mechanical skills, and experience with purchase order/sales order/data entry. The Service Parts Specialist will be responsible for identifying, sourcing, and ordering parts for all service-related opportunities, providing price and delivery information to associates, processing and following up on airfreight orders, investigating PO and/or vendor invoice discrepancies, picking correct "lots" when technicians use parts off trucks, assisting technicians in the field with local parts suppliers, and following established procedures for proper disposition of parts not used on service jobs.
Responsibilities:
- Properly identify, source and order parts for all service related opportunities
- Provide price and delivery information, in a timely manner, to any associate who requests the information
- Process and follow up on all airfreight orders
- Investigate PO and/or vendor invoice discrepancies when directed by the corporate office
- Pick correct "lots" when technicians use parts off trucks
- Assist technicians in the field with local parts suppliers and placing orders when technicians need to pick up parts locally
- Follow established procedures and work with warehouse/operations personnel for proper disposition of parts not used on service jobs
Qualifications:
- Minimum high school diploma, college degree a plus- excellent computer skills required
- Good mechanical skills (previous automotive experience or related background)
- Purchase order/sales order/data entry skills
- Strong personality
- Team player
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience with dealing with vendors requesting price and availability quotes as well as placing orders
- Attention to detail
- Strong sense of urgency
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced environment
