Job Description
Custom Processing Services provides contract manufacturing/toll processing services to a wide variety of industries. Specialized processes center on particle size reduction using a number of methods including jaw crushing, pulverizing, micronizing and media milling. Additional services such as flash drying, surface treatments, blending, dispersing and packaging are also available. The Processing Pros provide new product development assistance from R&D concepts through their commercialization. In addition to CPS's technical grade facilities, a state-of-the art, dedicated building is available for cGMP processing.
INDUSTRIAL MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (ELECTRO-MECHANICAL)
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing and facility machinery. The focus of the Maintenance Technician is to properly diagnose and repair equipment.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installing manufacturing and facility machinery.
- Performing preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing and facility machinery.
- Troubleshooting and repairing facility machinery.
- Troubleshooting and repairing PLC equipment.
- Complete maintenance and repair logs.
- Communicate with Production Operators and Plant Supervisors.
- Maintaining and securing work tools.
- Cleaning and maintaining work area.
- Complying with the company Lock-Out Tag-Out program.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
- Providing on-the-job training to employees.
- Ordering tools and machinery inventory parts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma required; qualified candidate will have basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
- Advanced Education from a Technical Training School (Electro-Mechanical Technology) preferred.
- Advanced skills in one or more of the following areas: electrical (120 – 480V), mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic systems, air compressors, motors, controls and PLC troubleshooting.
- Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Candidate must have manual dexterity for performing repairs.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically is required.
- The ability to climb ladders and work from platforms is also required.
- Employee must supply his/her own hand tools to perform maintenance tasks.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves periodic lifting. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment may include but is not limited to: eye safety glasses, hearing protectors, work boots, and hard hats. Loose fitting clothes and jewelry are not permitted.
TRAINING:
Receive continuous feedback regarding training and performance.
Candidate should expect to work independently and be self-directed.
Candidate will be offered training to remain current in skills and industry trends.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Travel to the East Greenville, PA facility may be required, less than 10%.
