Job Title: Model/Simulation Engineer
Job Location: Huntsville, Alabama
Must Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics/Physics or related scientific field
- 2 - 6 years directly related experience
- Secret Security Clearance
- Experience developing digital models and simulations
- Experience with Modeling & Simulation methods: Stochastic modeling, Physics‐ based modeling, Monte Carlo simulation, Discrete event simulation, Continuous simulation.
- Experience with Simulation implementation: Modeling and simulation life‐ cycle, Modeling and simulation standards, Conceptual modeling, Verification
Good to Haves
- DevSecOps Experience
- Strong written and oral communication skills, and multi-tasks with strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through skills.
- Experience using software project lifecycle tools (e.g., version control, automated build systems, bug tracking, requirements management)
- Missile defense asset knowledge (interceptor missiles, kill vehicles, radars, etc.)
- Experience performing verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A)
