Job Description Qualifications:
Boeing Global Services is seeking an Engineering Application Administrator (Associate or Mid-Level) who can provide direction to a team of Mechanical and Electrical Engineers responsible for the design of military training simulators. Become part of the Hardware Design team within Government Training Engineering in St. Louis, MO.
The GTE team is responsible for the design, development, manufacture, and maintenance of training devices for a wide variety of military aircraft - everything from F-15 fighter jets to Apache attack helicopters, and even NASA's new Starliner spacecraft.
Position Responsibilities:

• Provide support for end users of an Engineering Application
• Troubleshoot issues that may occur in the application, database, or web server
• Apply systems thinking to resolve issues that may occur in upstream or downstream applications
• Communicate issues and enhancements with application vendor
• Manage Oracle databases and write SQL scripts to investigate data issues and provide customer reports (Power User type knowledge)
• SharePoint administration

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at the listed location. This is at the hiring team's discretion and could potentially change in the future.
*Note-ratio of onsite/remote varies depending on project assignment.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
• 1+ years of experience using Oracle/SQL for application interactions with databases
• 1+ years of experience in C# and/or Java

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years of higher education and/or related work experience do you have? (Higher education includes college, university, technical school, licensing/certification programs, etc.)
• Prior experience with CMPRO or other Configuration Management tools
• Prior experience with SharePoint Administration
• Prior experience working with ColdFusion server

Typical Education/ Experience:
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
Mid-Level (Level 3)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range associate level: $73,100 - $98,900
