Mlb Betting Writer/Analyst

Sportmoney is a newsletter-first media company launching in April that will provide expert sports betting research and analysis to fans across the country. Our content centers around a daily newsletter, which will offer insights from proven sports betting professionals on the most interesting and intriguing bets each day. Paid subscribers will receive information about more than 11,000 bets per year, including from the NFL, NBA, MLB, soccer, tennis, and college football and basketball.

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated part-time MLB Betting Writer/Analyst to join our new team. As a Writer/Analyst at Sportmoney, you will play a pivotal role in delivering expert insights to our subscribers and curating our daily newsletter. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth research and analysis on MLB bets three to four mornings per week during the season and write your insights for a daily newsletter.

Responsibilities:

• Write insightful commentary and analysis on MLB bets.
• Conduct comprehensive research on MLB teams, players, and bets.
• Analyze historical data and current trends.
• Collaborate with our team of industry-leading experts to create our daily newsletter content.
• Maintain accuracy and integrity in all analysis and insights provided to subscribers.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our company by offering innovative ideas and solutions.
• Interact with subscribers, on occasion, to provide tips and insights.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in baseball betting analysis or as an MLB reporter.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and trends.
• Deep understanding of the MLB, its teams and the players.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate insights and analysis effectively.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Passion for sports and an interest in staying updated on the latest developments in the industry.
