We are currently seeking a Senior Medicaid Business / Data Analyst to join our team in Kapolei, Hawaii (US-HI), United States (US).
Overview of job:
The successful candidate will work as part of a team providing design, development, and implementation support for a State Health Analytics Program. Working under the direction of a team manager, she/he will actively participate in the delivery of tasks/activities and associated deliverables. In collaboration with other NTT DATA GCA consultants, the selected candidate will work directly with state business staff and vendors to support the analysis, planning, design, implementation and evaluation of key system changes, projects, analysis, and processes to help the client achieve organizational goals.
Job responsibilities Include:
- Develop and present formal presentations to business leaders, partners, and team members, making applicable recommendations
- Function as a liaison between business and technical stakeholders
- Research and provide recommendations to the client on data quality issues, business problems/decisions
- Attend project and status meetings
- Identify and report project issues and risks
- Collaborate with team members to provide subject matter expertise and assistance as applicable
- Ensure that program identified processes and methodologies are executed and followed
- Assist the state and partners in research, analysis and identification of source and target data, documentation discrepancies and propose solutions to address
- Interface with state staff and vendors; ensure state staff and vendors share a common understanding of requirements and desired outcomes
- Minimum 8 years of experience working for a State Health program or performing consulting services to a state government program
- Minimum 4 years’ experience data analysis within and across systems
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience working in Medicaid Managed Care systems
- Minimum 5 years of experience with elicitation and verification of business requirements
- Minimum 1 year experience in system development methodology and project management principles
- Undergraduate degree or 4 years additional relevant experience
- Experience translating Federal and State regulations into working requirements that are actionable by technical teams
- Experience working with and/or liaising with Medicaid Enterprise and other systems vendors
- Experience working with and/or liaising with Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
- Experience supporting one or more state Medicaid Programs/MMIS, specifically in Encounters functional area
- Ability to translate between non-technical business users and technical IT resources
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting pay range for this remote role is $92,000-115,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on a number of factors, including the candidate’s actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
