Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Midstream and Marketing Representative. Reporting to the Director of Midstream and Marketing, the Marketing Representative will provide support for a variety of projects (as detailed below). The ideal candidate will have strong technical and communication skills as well as be able to contribute his/her expertise while working on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment.
General Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day and long term evaluation of oil/gas/NGL/water Midstream and Marketing activities which include, but are not limited to:
- Coordinating new well head connections with third party midstream companies
- Communicating initial routes and ROW timing implications
- Evaluating and coordinating appropriate oil and gas measurement
- Coordinating gas lift and VRU meters where applicable
- Reviewing, analyzing, and drafting new third-party agreements
- Delivering schedule of wells to third party midstream/downstream markets
- Coordinating with midstream/downstream markets and internal teams during upset conditions in order to evaluate and minimize impact to production
- Monitoring, analyzing, and distributing current and future commodity prices
- Analyzing and updating netbacks on oil/gas/NGL agreements
- Assisting accounting with review of applicable monthly statements
- Creating and communicating RFPs for midstream services
- Monitoring and optimizing commodity pricing amongst contracts
- Identifying potential areas of improvement in midstream/downstream agreements
- Maintaining and building strategic company-to-company relationships with key enterprise-wide decision makers
- Managing and renegotiating third party gathering, processing, transportation, disposal, and sales agreements
- Developing, implementing, and identifying new marketing strategies
- Assisting with various high impact projects and responsibilities of the group
Qualifications
- Ability to lead and work successfully in a team environment
- Ability to interpret contracts and proposals and translate into financial models
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain, Data Management or Accounting
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Oil and Gas Marketing/Trading/Financial Analysis or Logistics/Scheduling
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Analyzing and preparing large data sets in Excel
- Editing and redlining contracts in Word
- Creating and modifying presentations for internal review in PowerPoint
- Experience with Spotfire, Carte and ProCount is a plus
