Joining OpenText's Solutions Consulting group as a Microsoft Solutions Consultant means stepping into a role where you'll play a crucial part in securing technical wins, advocating for our solutions, and empowering our partners for success in their markets. Your expertise in technology, collaborative mindset, and passion for driving revenue will be instrumental in achieving our organizational goals.

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS

• Drive technical wins and evangelize our solutions to ensure partner success.
• Collaborate closely with sales teams to support revenue generation efforts.
• Establish pre-sales support requirements for current and prospective customers and partners.
• Provide quick and thorough responses to customer requests, demonstrating system features and functionality.
• Serve as a subject matter expert in Microsoft solutions, mastering the product portfolio.
• Lead technical sales presentations and demonstrations for partners and customers.
• Work autonomously alongside designated sales teams, gathering customer requirements and feedback.
• Attend marketing, sales, and customer events, representing our solutions and engaging with stakeholders.
• Enjoy a remote working environment with frequent travel to offices, customer sites, and events.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Familiarity with a wide range of IT-related technologies and solutions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Critical thinking, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
• Excellent time management, organization, and troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to travel domestically up to 30% of the time.
• Ability to understand and articulate the value proposition of Microsoft solutions.
• Dedication to becoming a subject matter expert in Data Security and Data Protection product sets.
• Capability to lead technical presentations and demonstrations independently.
• Collaboration skills to gather customer requirements and feedback, working closely with peers and product management.

For California, Colorado Washington state, and New York city residents, this job is expected to pay a minimum of $125,000 in addition to a comprehensive and competitive group benefit and healthcare plan. Individual compensation will be determined based on skills and experience comparable to the job requirements.
