SalaryCome join an expanding boutique-style private practice! We are seeking a part-time (10-15 sessions/week) Limited Permit Mental Health Counselor in the state of New York to provide exceptional Mental Health therapy to a diverse client population. The candidate will be able to work independently, they will deliver an integrative approach to counseling, they will understand how to carry a client through a structured therapeutic process that aims to assess the 'why' before going into 'how to move forward', and they will have adequate knowledge in trauma-informed and evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT).

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- This work will be fully remote.
- Flexibility regarding your scheduling with clients.
- Weekly supervision and on call guidance from your supervisor will be provided as is needed/required.
- Part-time is defined by scheduling 10-15 sessions/week, so please have a schedule that allows for this quantity.
- Access to clinical courses/materials purchased by owner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Have the capacity to confidently work independently and provide Mental Health counseling to diverse populations.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations.
- Complete official session notes, psychosocials, and treatment plans required in a timely manner.
- Utilize and analyze diagnostic tools as appropriate.
- Optimally serve clients needs in regards to general counseling, providing resources, referrals, and provide general guidance for any emergency situation.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- LP-MHC in the state of New York.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Familiarity with various theoretical approaches.
- Ability to work independently.
- Candidates who are pursuing therapy as a 2nd career will be prioritized.
Education: Master's (Required)
License/Certification: LP - MHC license (Limited Permit eligible required)
