Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Spanish-speaking Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dynamic team in Florida and/or New York. The ideal candidate will be passionate about serving diverse populations and committed to providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct at least 15 weekly hours of individual, couples, and/or family therapy sessions with clients from diverse backgrounds, including people of color and LGBTQ+ communities.
- Provide culturally competent assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in administrative supervision sessions to discuss cases, receive feedback, and ensure quality of care.
- Attend monthly staff meetings to collaborate with colleagues, share resources, and stay updated on best practices.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as outlined by relevant licensing boards.
Experience:
- Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling (from CACREP accredited program preferred) or Social Work.
- Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Florida and/or New York in good standing.
- Experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and LGBTQ+ communities.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team setting.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and cultural competence.
