We are seeking a Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a master's degree in counseling or related field, be licensed in the, and have experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing individual and group therapy sessions. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals, couples, and families in our community. You will be responsible for conducting intake assessments, developing personalized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based therapy to clients of all ages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' Mental Health needs
- Collaborate with clients to establish treatment goals and objectives
- Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions using a variety of therapeutic modalities
- Monitor and document clients' progress towards treatment goals
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals and community resources as needed
- Provide education and support to clients' families, promoting understanding and active participation in the recovery processes.
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' Mental Health concerns and determine their treatment needs.
- Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to address clients' unique challenges and goals.
- Collaborate closely with other Mental Health professionals, such as psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Requirements
- Education: A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling
- Licensing: An independent license (one of the following) issued by the state board, limited/provisional license not accepted:
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
- Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
- Ability to make professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendations for treatment planning and implementation.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and sympathetic nature
- Strong computer literacy skills
