Mintbody Med Spa & Wellness is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Receptionist/Medical Assistant. As the first point of contact for our clients, this individual plays a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere at our spa. This position involves a range of responsibilities, including front desk management, administrative tasks, and providing support to our medical professionals.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure the spa opens and closes smoothly according to scheduled hours.
- Set up and organize the reception area for the day.
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
- Provide information, schedule appointments, and address client inquiries.
- Relay messages accurately to appropriate staff members.
- Greet and check-in patients with a friendly and welcoming demeanor.
- Verify patient information and update records as needed.
- Efficiently handle check-out procedures, including processing payments.
- Assist with various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the spa.
- Maintain and organize patient records and documentation.
- Coordinate and manage appointment scheduling.
- Collaborate with the Nurse Practitioner to ensure seamless patient care.
- Assist during medical procedures as directed, maintaining a sterile and organized environment.
- Manage inventory levels of spa products.
- Place orders for supplies as needed, ensuring timely restocking.
- Provide exceptional customer service to enhance the overall client experience.
- Address client concerns and inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Manage the social media platforms and contribute to create and post content daily
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role, preferably in a spa or medical setting.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in basic computer applications and office software.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time position with regular M-F 9AM - 6PM business hours, and occasional flexibility may be required based on spa events or special occasions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 42 per week
