Medical Assistant

Highly reputable aesthetic medical practice seeking a motivated Medical Assistant to join our team. We are seeking a Medical Assistant with experience, preferred dermatology background and certified Medical Assistant.

Duties of this position include:

• Preparing treatment rooms and assist the providers with medical procedures and other patient care.
• Ensuring the provider you are assisting is on time with their schedule and aware when the patients are in the office.
• Ensuring that patient before and after photos have been taken with accuracy.
• Keep service rooms clean and set up for the next patient. Keep supplies ready in the treatment rooms and inform management when stock is running low.
• Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
• Keep all supplies clean and sterile.
• Educate and consult with clients and sell skin-care services and products based on need.
• Administer B12 shots.
• Receive and direct phone calls, schedule appointments, check in patients, obtain necessary patient information to file and update patient records, and ensure all forms and consents are completed by patients.
• Help admin staff as needed.

Education, Skills & Experience:

• Certified Medical Assistant preferred
• 6 month to 1 year experience or combination of education and experience
• Must be organized, pay close attention to detail and multi-task
• Be a self-starter and work independently with little supervision
• Must be honest and trust worthy with a strong worth ethic
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to consult with patients
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality of patient information
• Able to make timely decisions in a fast-paced open environment
• Possess computer skills including Microsoft Office
• Ability to efficiently adapt to change and follow new directive (environment, requirements, roles, objectives)
• Must be team-oriented with strong written and verbal communication

Pay depending on experience.

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
