Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update Medical Records in accordance with established procedures and guidelines
- Organize and file Medical Records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Retrieve Medical Records as requested by authorized personnel
- Assist with the release of Medical Records to patients, healthcare providers, and other authorized individuals
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other applicable laws and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate documentation and recordkeeping
Experience:
- Previous experience working with Medical Records in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and knowledge of medical office procedures
- Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant software applications
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
