We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Records Coordinator. As a Records Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining Medical Records in a medical office setting. This is a vital role in ensuring accurate and up-to-date patient information.
Duties:
- Organize and maintain Medical Records in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure the confidentiality and security of patient information
- Retrieve and file Medical Records as needed
- Assist with the release of Medical Records to authorized individuals or organizations
- Review records for completeness and accuracy
- Enter data into electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate documentation
- Assist with audits and quality assurance activities related to Medical Records
-Any other duties required by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred
- Previous experience working in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with medical record systems
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
