SalaryConcierge medical practice is in need of a Medical Receptionist/Medical Assistant/patient advocate. The ideal candidate will have a pleasant and up-beat personality. Must be organized, intelligent and be health conscious.
Our practice is two-fold. On one end, it is all about health and wellness, decreasing and reversing the disease process without the use of medications when possible, and assisting our patient population to live their healthiest life possible.
On the other end, we diagnose and treat chronic inflammatory diseases including chronic Lyme disease, all tick-borne diseases, environmental toxicity - including mold toxicity and heavy metal toxicity. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be able to counsel our patients on healthy lifestyle behaviors in order to help them maintain or return to a state of health.
Must have Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with providers, other medical professionals, office personnel, and patients. Must be sympathetic when working with our patients - some are very sick and need reassurance. Must be computer literate and knowledgeable on EHR systems. Experience with AthenaHealth is a PLUS! Must be able to multitask. Experience is preferred but will train the right candidate.
Duties include:
- Answering phones
- Scheduling appointments
- Working collaboratively with the other members of the team
- Organizational skills are a must
- Rooming patients
- Accurately taking and documenting vital signs
- Take EKGs
- Phlebotomy
- Communicating with other offices regarding shared patients
- Counseling patients on proper diet and nutrition, healthy habits, healthy lifestyle
