Medical Receptionist/Front Office

JobOverview:

We are a small, privately owned optometric practice located inside Costco, focused on comprehensive eye care. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with great customer service skills to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Manage front desk patient flow
• Patient check-in and check-out
• Scheduling appointments, including walk-ins
• Identify patients’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternative
• Enter new patient information into system
• Obtain and verify patient demographics
• Verify insurance benefits and copayments
• Collect copayments and other patient balances
• Willing to learn new skills as required by the needs of the practice
• Assist staff members in other tasks as assigned

Benefits include: Paid time off, paid holidays, additional compensation for working Saturdays.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Medical terminology: 1 year (Preferred)
• Computer skills: 1 year (Preferred)
