Job Title: Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Assistant

Location: 635 Park Meadow Rd Suite#202, Westerville, Ohio 43081

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary: $14 - $15 per hour

Position Summary: As a Medical Receptionist/Front Desk Assistant at Safe Hands Home Health Services, you will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative and operational aspects of our home health care agency. You will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of care services to our clients and maintain the highest standards of customer service.

Responsibilities:

Client Records Management: Maintain accurate and organized client records, including intake forms, care plans, and medical documentation.

Scheduling and Coordination: Assist in scheduling home health care visits, ensuring that client appointments are coordinated effectively with caregivers' availability.

Billing and Invoicing: Prepare and process billing and invoicing for clients and maintain financial records.

Communication: Serve as a point of contact for clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, ensuring excellent communication and timely response to inquiries.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain essential paperwork, such as contracts, consent forms, and compliance documents, in compliance with regulations.

Office Organization: Maintain a clean and organized office environment, including inventory management and ordering supplies as needed.

Data Entry: Accurately enter data into the electronic health records (EHR) system and assist in updating and maintaining client information.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies pertaining to home health care services.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (associate's degree in a related field preferred).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Answering & routing telephone calls.
  • Collecting information and taking messages.
  • Receive, sign and distribute incoming & outgoing mail.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information HIPAA compliance records.
  • Experience in a healthcare or office administrative role is a plus.
