Premier Physicians is currently seeking a Full Time Medical Receptionist with 3-5 years management and medical field experience.
To be considered for this full time position you must have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as front and back office skills.
Position Title: Medical Receptionist
Overview: Responsible for administering, coordinating, planning and directing all medical office activities and functions under the direction of the physician.
Essential Functions:
- Develops and implements office policies and procedures
- Supervises, trains and evaluates the office staff
- Screens, Interviews, Hires and on-boards all new office staff
- Collaborates with patients, families, office staff, insurance companies, other physicians, and other relevant third parties as required.
- Oversees office operations as they relate to Staff Schedule and PTO requests.
- Ensures OSHA and HIPPA standards are met at all times
- Manages work flow in offices to ensure efficient and effective operations and patient satisfaction.
- May be asked to perform other duties as may reasonably be necessary for effectively managing the office.
Experience / Education:
- High School diploma (or equivalent),
- Minimum of 3-5 years medical Managerial office experience, (Required)
- Experience with electronic medical record systems
Knowledge & Skills:
- Medical terminology, coding, billing, and office procedures.
- Knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, for drafting reports and correspondence.
- Excellent Customer Servicer with a Patient Focus
Abilities:
- Ability to input data and key accurately into computers utilizing standard and propriety software programs.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow oral and written directions.
- Ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and concisely in a diplomatic manner.
- Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, physicians, and co-workers.

Environmental / Working Conditions / Physical Demands – This position is typical of those found in a medical office setting – an indoor environment with little or no exposure to extremes in temperature, noise, smells, etc. Work will require hand dexterity for operating office machines and computer keyboard. While performing the essential functions of the position, employees will be expected to see, sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Employees may be exposed to needles, sharps, hazardous chemicals as might be present in a medical office, as well as blood and other bodily fluids during the routine performance of duties. Employees will be trained in the proper handling and disposal of such materials, and expected to follow company and OSHA safety guidelines.
